"New plant for Novartis GmbH"

We are happy to announce that EnviroDTS was commissioned by Novartis GmbH to care for the thermal inactivation and neutralisation of the production wastewater in the new Marburg plant (Mars project).
The facility has been designed for the production of vaccines against tick-borne encephalitis and rabies.
The new plant provides in-line treatment of wastewater with a capacity of 2 m³/h at 100 °C per 2 minutes. The plant is designed redundantly, thus featuring 2 parallel lines.

Efficient neutralisation is guaranteed by the proven EnviroDTS reactor with a capacity of 16 m³/h.
Both plants will be qualified and validated; they will undergo a FAT in the factory and a SAT on-site.
Completion is scheduled for September 2009.
